On this day, Peter and John are sent to make preparations for the Passover meal. After sunset, Jesus breaks bread with his 12 disciples and also washes their feet. Judas departs from the gathering as Jesus make his way to the Garden of Gethsemane, where he experiences great agony and anxiety. Judas betrays Jesus and he is arrested by Sanhedrin. Jesus is taken to the house of the High Priest as the Sanhedrin is convened and we also see Peter denying Jesus Christ, just as Jesus had predicted.
