Central Fine Arts Academy

A Fine Arts Academy that serves the community and encourages growth through artistic expression within a faith-based environment.

Ignite your child׳s creativity through music, visual arts, and dance

Allow your child to explore their interests in a caring and safe environment.

Central Fine Arts Academy is a new resource for the Steele Creek community for quality music, art and dance instruction for elementary age students. The academy opened Fall 2019 and provides group instruction to allow students in Grades K through 5th to explore their creative interests in a safe and supportive environment.  Private lessons are available for all ages.

CFAA held in-person classes from September 2019 to March 2020.   The classes transitioned to on-line for the safety of the students and teachers when the Covid-19 spread.   We look forward to resuming the in-person classes this fall.

The Central Fine Arts Academy is an outreach to the community by Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church.

Our Approach:

Group classes will allow K to 5th grade students to be introduced to musical instruments, an art focus or technique, and/or a dance style.   Through this introduction in a small group setting, students can determine if the musical instrument or dance/art technique is one that they want to pursue further.

Private Lessons are available for all ages.  They are available for 30 minute and 60 minute classes.

All students are expected to participate in the Showcase at the end of each session.   This is an informal performance for family and friends.

All classes will be taught by qualified instructors in their field.   All instructors will be evaluated for their expertise and teaching excellence to encourage elementary students.  They must pass a background check.

Caring and Safe Environment

The Central Fine Arts Academy will be a caring environment for elementary students, encouraging creativity and growth in a faith-based community.    The safety of students will be of utmost concern.   All instructors and volunteers will undergo background checks and child safety training.   We will follow the guidelines of the Presbyterian Church, USA which requires a second adult in each classroom.   Careful drop-off and pick-up procedures for the students will be followed.

The guidelines for Covid-19 will continue to be monitored.   If required, the classes will transition to on-line classes.

 Parent Hospitality Room: Central Café

Parents will be encouraged to stay during the group and private lessons.   A comfortable lounge area is available with Wi-Fi access for relaxing or work.
