Christianity’s Family TreeThe New Covenant Class
The New Covenant Class is a warm, caring group of adults in their 40s, 50s and 60s who come together each Sunday morning for a comprehensive exploration of Bible study and Christian faith. The weekly stand-alone lessons and round-table discussions are led by class members on a rotating basis and frequently delve into contemporary issues viewed from a variety of Christian perspectives. Fellowship and participation in church and class missions are also important components in our Christian response to Gods word and purpose in our lives. The New Covenant Class welcomes all, but new members to Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church and existing members who do not currently attend Sunday School are especially welcomed.
Gods promise to the people of Israel was called a covenant. Gods covenant is not a contract that is conditional on our love for God, but rather a promise that God holds in Gods own heart. Gods promises to us will always be fulfilled.
